Campbell graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He earned his Juris Doctorate with Honors in Legal Research and Writing and a Teaching Fellowship in Contracts from the University of Florida in 1984. Campbell began his legal career at Blackwell & Walker, then the oldest law firm in Miami, where he practiced in the areas of personal injury, insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
In 1992, Campbell moved to Jacksonville, where his practice specialized in commercial litigation and construction litigation including the representation of design professionals in architecture and engineering. He also continued his personal injury practice—as well as landlord/tenant claims and defense of attorneys in legal malpractice cases.
Campbell’s robust railroad practice has included representing Genesee & Wyoming affiliated companies such as Savannah Port Terminal and Jacksonville Rail Link in commercial and personal injury matters, including a specialty in demurrage claims.
Campbell started Ford Miller with Mark Miller in 1996. He lives in Atlantic Beach and enjoys spending time with his two children, exercising and traveling whenever he can.
Ward Huntley, former CEO of Southlubes, Inc., says “Campbell Ford has been my attorney for over 17 years. He handles all of the legal claims that come up in my business, and he is especially adept at representing our interests in complex matters.”
