Mark received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and his Juris Doctorate from Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 1991. After five years working with the Office of the Public Defender, he joined Ford Miller & Wainer.
Mark was awarded the rating of AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell in 2010, the highest possible rating for legal ability and ethical standards. In 2011, he was rated a Top Lawyer by Jacksonville Magazine in the area of family law. Click here to read the article.
Mark’s diverse experience with mental health court, Baker Act court and domestic violence court has proven invaluable for clients in resolving all manners of legal issues. He has helped hundreds of families resolve marital differences through the legal system, professional counseling or improved methods of communication.
In his adoption practice, Mark has helped well over 100 families through all aspects of adoptions, including private, agency, domestic, international and step-parent adoptions. As a criminal defense attorney, he has tried over 50 jury trials defending clients with charges including homicide, robbery, grand theft, battery and DUI.
Miller resides in Jacksonville with his wife and four daughters.
