Jessica graduated from Florida State University in 2005 where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science with a minor in International Affairs. During her tenure at Florida State, Jessica worked for a lobbyist in the Florida Legislature. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2008.
While attending law school, Jessica had the great fortune of interning for the St. John’s County Attorney’s Office as well as a private litigation firm. She also, was a member of the Family Law clinic where she assisted indigent community members with a variety of legal matters. Since graduation, Jessica has represented both plaintiffs and defendants, and prior to joining Ford Miller & Wainer she worked at a large insurance defense litigation firm.
Jessica is an Officer on the Board of the Young Lawyers Section of the Jacksonville Bar Association where she serves as the President-Elect. In addition to serving the legal community, Jessica enjoys spending her time at the beach and with her puppies.
